With spring in full effect and the sun shining, you can’t help but feel the urge to get outside. There are so many benefits to this change of season.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a real condition that can create moodiness, depression, lack of interest and low energy.
This effects so many of us during the winter months.
By just opening your doors and windows or taking a walk, that exposure to sunlight acts as a natural anti-anantidepressant. Fresh air increases your serotonin levels which not only makes you happier but also can promote an all-around change in your mood and energy level. Sunlight provides a source of Vitamin D which our bodies crave and aides in keeping our bones strong and our bodies healthy.
So go ahead, what are you waiting for?
